Class Schedule, Registration & Fees, Private & Double Lessons


Class Schedule

  • Classes begin  the last week of September and end in April.
  • Classes for students age 3-4 meet once a week for 40 minutes.
  • Classes for students age 5 and up meet once a week for 50 minutes.


Class Registration and Fees

  • A non-refundable registration fee of $15 is due with the first monthly tuition payment.
    • Registration comes with a free Precision Twirl class t-shirt
  • Monthly tuition of $50 is due by the 15th of each month.
    • A sibling discount is available:
      • 2 students = $90
      • 3 students = $135
  • Payment Options
    • Cash - Seal in an envelope with first and last name of twirler, name of parent, what the payment is for, and amount of money in the envelope. The drop box is located by the door.
    • Check - Make checks payable to Precision Twirl. Complete the envelope as above and place it in the drop box by the door.
    • Venmo - Venmo Paige Keitt. Do not turn on “Get a full refund…” You will be responsible for the related balance.
    • Credit card - See Paige. A $5 convenience fee will be added.
  • Class schedules are determined by Mrs. Keitt and based on age and experience levels of registered students.
  • Class schedules will be available up to 2 weeks before classes begin in the middle of September.


Private Lessons

  • 30-minute private lessons cost $20 for students enrolled in group classes. 
  • 30-minute private lessons cost $25 for students NOT enrolled in group classes. 
  • Private lesson fees are to be paid in cash at the time of each lesson. 
  • College students who were enrolled in group classes during their senior year are eligible for the $20 fee for private lessons.


Double Classes For Older Beginners

  • Older students who are just starting out may enroll in two classes at a time: one class to learn the fundamentals and one class to learn alongside students of the same age.
  • Students taking double classes pay $75 per month.
  • Students may compete with one or both classes.

Batons and Behavior


Batons

  • Precision Studio recommends thicker-shaft ABC or Starline batons, which are available at the studio for $32 (wrap included).
  • ABC or Starline batons (not wrapped) are available for $30. If you choose to wrap the baton yourself, only black or white tape is acceptable.  


Studio Etiquette

  • Wear your Precision Twirl T-shirt to class with black shorts or warm-up pants.
    • Additional Precision Twirl shirts, tanks, and long-sleeve shirts in assorted colors are available.
  • Wear tennis shoes or jazz shoes to class. No street shoes, sandals, or Crocs!
  • No chewing gum allowed.
  • Parents are not allowed to stay and watch classes. Use the circle drive for drop-off and pick-up.

Team Events and Competitions


Christmas Parade

  • Participation in the Henderson Christmas Parade is optional but highly encouraged.
  • Dress code for the parade is Precision Twirl class t-shirt over a white long-sleeved shirt with black leggings and tennis shoes. Santa hats add that festive touch..


Spring Contests

  • Participation in spring twirling contests is optional but highly encouraged.
  • Mandatory costumes for spring contests are usually $80.
    • A $40 non-refundable costume deposit is in November
    • The balance is due in February.

Waivers

  • Parents and legal guardians of minor students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on studio property resulting from normal activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during, or after class.
  • Precision Twirl is hereby granted permission to take pictures and videos of students while participating in twirling activities. Pictures may be used in brochures, websites, Facebook posts, and advertisements for the studio. Videos of students practicing routines will not be shared with the public. Videos will only be shared on Facebook with those who are in a special group of other students and parents in the same class. These videos are provided as a way for parents to see how the students are doing in class and also as a way for the students to remember what to practice.


Disclaimers

  • No refunds for registration, monthly tuition, or costume deposits.
  • A $15 late fee will be assessed when tuition is not paid by the 15th. 
  • Monthly tuition is NOT prorated if the student is absent. 
  • Precision Twirl has a $20.00 charge for all returned checks. You will be required to pay in cash, Venmo, or with a money order after a check is returned.
  • Precision Twirl is not responsible for items left at the studio.
  • Precision Twirl is not responsible for providing before- or after-class care for students. Drop your child off at class time and pick your child up at dismissal. 

*Students in 9th–12th grade are strongly encouraged to register for classes now, even though classes for some high school students will not begin until December.

**Precision Twirl follows the Henderson ISD school calendar. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring break holidays are observed. Classes WILL NOT be held during this time. Precision Twirl WILL have classes when school is only out for a Monday.
